ATTRACTIONS ARE OPEN THROUGH OCTOBER WEATHER PERMITTING!
HAY BARN: Kids can roam the hidden passages in the NEW Hay Barn and slide down the slide. FREE! OPEN NOW!
CORN MAZE: Find your way through the twists and tangles of this year's spectacular corn field. Along the way you may meet some scarecrows who got lost. We made the corn maze big enough for your amusement and small enough so you can find your way back to us and feel comfortable allowing older children to search the maze on their own. FREE! OPEN SEPTEMBER 16th.
PETTING ZOO: The petting zoo is fun for all ages with our sheep, turkey, chickens, bunnies, and cows. FREE! OPEN SEPTEMBER 16th. Purchase a cup of feed to feed the animals.
HAY RIDES: From the last weekend in September until Halloween we offer scenic hayrides through the woods full of fall foliage and along the fields for a beautiful 15 minute trip. Hay rides run on Saturday and Sunday Noon until 5:00 p.m.
PICNICS: There are picnic tables and benches so you can sit and enjoy a hot dog, donut, cup of cold or mulled cider which you can purchase at the food stand. Or simply relax while your children play at the attractions or visit and soak up the view. The concession stand is open Saturdays and Sundays during October from Noon until 5:00 p.m. Sorry, no outside food or beverages allowed.
PICTURE CUT-OUTS: All of our attractions are a picture opportunity waiting to happen, but most especially our cutouts where you can be a deer, pumpkin or scarecrow. Our cutouts were painted beautifully by Maria Burd.
PONY RIDES: An enjoyable addition to the wonderful memories of your visit to the Cider Mill. Pony rides are offered by Future Vision Farms. There are ponies available for both adults and children. Pony rides run during October on Saturday and Sunday from Noon until 5:00 p.m.
PUMPKIN SLINGSHOT: How good is your aim? Shoot little pumpkins out of a slingshot. If you get the pumpkin in the bin you get either one free play or one free hayride. Saturdays and Sundays from the last weekend in September through October, Noon until 5:00 p.m.
SEE CIDER BEING MADE: Watch Gary Ritter make cider. See the whole process from the hopper, conveyor belt, grinder, the pulp being pumped to the rack, cider being squeezed from the pulp layered on the rack and being pumped into a refrigerated bulk tank where it is then poured into jugs. Get a free taste straight from the press or from the bulk tank. Educational and entertaining for the whole family. We usually press every Saturday and Sunday until 1:00 p.m. and during the week as needed. It is always a good idea to call to verify days and times of pressing cider if you want to see it being made, but the press is available to view during our seasonal hours and someone can explain how it works.
